How to Test the Hypothesis of a Single-Molecule Mixture Using Experimental Methods

Abstract: How can the hypothesis of a “single-molecule mixture” be verified experimentally? This is a critical issue that cannot be avoided in the  development of single-molecule mixture science. This paper proposes a method for experimentally determining the likelihood that a sample of molecular aggregates exhibits a “near-single-molecule mixture state,” in which “the structures of the vast majority of molecules are distinct.” It also outlines specific experimental methods for verifying the differences in properties between molecular aggregates in a “single-molecule mixture” state and their corresponding pure-state counterparts, thereby offering a potential solution to this problem.
